Phi Theta Kappa Membership

The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarships among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.

Following the submission of your application to Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters, you will receive:

(1) An email notification within twenty-four hours that your membership has been processed. This email will contain your membership identification number allowing you full access to exclusive member benefits.

(2) A member benefit package via mail within three weeks containing your Golden Key Membership Pin and detailed information on securing your exclusive membership benefits.

(3) Recognition in Phi Theta Kappa's online directory at www.ptk.org.
