TSIA2 Online (Examity)

********** TSI TESTING INSTRUCTIONS **********

Notice: As of March 1st 2024 students testing TSIA2 online via Examity will be responsible for the Examity Proctor Fee. The Examity Proctor fee is 25 dollars plus tax.

"If you are 10th-12th grade and haven't spoken to your DE advisor, please take a moment to review the TSI Waivers for qualifications. If you have additional questions you can contact the DE advisor on your campus."

All Students (INCLUDING MINORS) MUST present Photo Identification. This includes driver's license, school ID, and state ID. If your minor has no ID, email assessment@alvincollege.edu for a form that can be completed by your child's school or notarized.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Students requiring accommodations should contact the Coordinator of Disability Services at sas@alvincollege.edu.

1. You must have an ACC ID Number. Your ID Number can be found on your welcoming email after applying to ACC.

2. Complete the PAA. Click here for the Pre-Assessment Activity. Be sure to select Alvin Community College from the drop down menu.

YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TEST WITHOUT COMPLETING A STATE REQUIRED PRE-ASSESSMENT ACTIVITY (PAA).

3. Your TSI online remote test will be proctored by Examity online service. Please use the following link to confirm that your computer or laptop meets the necessary technical requirements. Examity for Students

Please note that mobile devices and chrome books cannot be used for TSI Testing Online.

4. After you have completed this payment process, you will receive an email ( within 24 Business Hours) from Accuplacer with your voucher code and instructions on how to schedule your TSI with Examity.

5. Use the Examity link in the voucher to access the Examity registration page. Enter your full name email and hit enter. You will be prompted to pay the 25.00 plus tax proctoring fee.

6. A confirmation email will be sent to you with login credentials from Examity. Login to the Examity dashboard and schedule the exam using the voucher code provided.

On Test Day You MUST have: Photo Identification (with your full name and picture), 2 pencils with eraser and 3 sheets of scratch paper. Please choose a distraction free area for you to take your TSI Assessment.

If you do not have the technical requirements to test online or need to cancel a test, please contact us at assessment@alvincollege.edu . Cancellations must be done 24 hours prior to test in order to receive a refund.
